About Me

Martha is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in therapy with individuals, couples and children. She maintains a private practice in the Lehigh Valley, bringing over 15 years of experience to her work. As a graduate of Chestnut Hill College, specializing in Counseling Psychology and Human Services, she offers services to individuals, children and families in transition, and to those who feel a desire for healing, perhaps through issues of trauma (loss, abuse, neglect, domestic violence), with a focus on personal (emotional / spiritual) growth and achieving a sense of wholeness.

Martha is an interactive therapist with a holistic approach to healing . Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges and explore their potential for change and growth. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized plan of care, tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them identify their needs, to overcome obstacles, to build on their strengths, and to attain the balance and inner peace they are committed to bringing to their life.

Additional Training: Martha's interest in working with children has inspired her to pursue additional training in Child Development, Sand Tray Therapy, Attachment and Bonding, and Play Therapy. She is also trained in complementary healing modalities of Hypnotherapy, Reiki II, Bach Flowers, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).
